Breakfast at St. Paul's

Just as the elderly are susceptible to hunger, so are our children.
During the week, school-age children are fed through school
lunch programs; that guarantees at least one meal a day. On
weekends, it’s another story. As families of the working poor struggle to make
ends meet, there frequently is not enough food to go around. Perhaps the parents
will forgo meals so the children can eat… sometimes no one eats at
all.
Breakfast at St. Paul’s ensures that weekends begin with a big, hearty,
hot breakfast. Located at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church (18th &
Washington) in Kansas City, Kansas, volunteers primarily from Episcopal parishes
in both the Diocese of Kansas and the Diocese of West Missouri prepare and serve
more than 150 men, women and children every Saturday morning. Biscuits, eggs,
pancakes, sausage—you name it! Bring your own family, or bring a friend, and
join us for Breakfast at St. Paul’s. Contact Suzi Swanson .
